Mother Lode Lakes Campgrounds

The foothills region of the Sierra Nevada, known as the Mother Lode, is home to a number of large reservoirs with many excellent campgrounds along their shores.

Group Camps are found at Lake Natoma's Negro Bar, New Hogan Lake's Coyote Point, Lake Camanche's North Shore, Don Pedro Lake's Blue Oaks Campground, Eastman Lake's Codorniz Campground, Lost Lake, Hensley Lake's Hidden View Campground, and Millerton Lake's North Shore Campground.

Equestrian Campgrounds are at Lake Camanche's Turkey Hill, Eastman Lake, and Millerton Lake's North Shore Campground.
