Blue Oaks Campground
Blue Oaks Campground spreads over the rolling hills on the west side of the dam at Don Pedro Lake. The lake is a popular draw in California's Sierra foothills for camping, boating, and fishing.
Don Pedro Lake Attractions
Don Pedro Lake is 45 miles east of Modesto. Boaters enjoy the lake's 13,000 surface acres for wakeboarding and waterskiing. Windsurfers and sailors appreciate the lake's steady afternoon breezes. Houseboaters like cruising along the lake's 160 miles of shoreline, exploring inlets and coves. Fishing is rewarding from shore or boat for bass, rainbow trout, and Kokanee and Chinook salmon.
