Tannery Gulch Campground is located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, on the south shore of the Stuart Arm of Trinity Lake. The campground includes a boat launch ramp and beach solely for the use of campground customers. Fishing from the shore near the campground for trout, bass, and catfish is usually good. Out on the lake boaters enjoy cruising, water skiing, and fishing.
Tannery Gulch Campground has 84 campsites arranged around four loops. All of the sites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. The campsites are in a forest of pines, firs, and oaks. The sites in Loops B, C, and D have views of the lake. Five campsites which are called group sites are really just slightly larger sites for 12 people. There is a modern amphitheater which seats 150 and features rear screen projection.
Reservations are available for camping dates from mid-May through mid-September. At other times when the campground is open, sites are first-come, first-served.

Enjoy the nature trail. Launch your boat from the campground's Boat Ramp. Cool off at the campground's swim beach. All around the lake find nice places for hiking and fishing. Out on the water enjoy motor-boating, waterskiing, kayaking, and sailing. Enjoy campfire programs at the amphitheater.
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.

Avoid problems with bears by securing all food and scented items in bear-proof lockers.
