Alpine View Campground is located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, on the shore of Trinity Lake. Visitors here enjoy the forested shoreline of Trinity Lake for hiking and mountain biking. Boaters take advantage of nearby Bowerman boat ramp. Fishing, waterskiing, and sailing are popular on the lake. Alpine View Campground is especially well designed for those with handicaps since many facilities and features are wheelchair accessible.
Alpine View Campground has 53 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. The campsites are arranged in three loops. Some campsites on loops A and B have lake views. Nearly all of the sites are wheelchair accessible, as are many trails and restrooms. The campground is in a cedar and Douglas fir forest with an undergrowth of ferns.

Hike the 0.3-mile Lake Trail. Take advantage of the Bowerman boat ramp ($7 fee). Set out to explore local hiking trails. Get out on the water for fishing, motor-boating, waterskiing, sailing, and kayaking.
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.
