Preacher Meadow Campground
Preacher Meadow Campground is located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, near Trinity Lake. The campground is along Swift Creek, 2 miles southwest of Trinity Center and the lake. Many campers choose the campground as a jumping off place for hikes into the Trinity Alps Wilderness. At nearby Trinity Center boat rentals are available. Out on the lake visitors enjoy boating, waterskiing, and fishing.
Preacher Meadow Campground has 45 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents arranged around several loops. Because the campground is close to Highway 3, some road noise can be heard. Campsites are set in a Ponderosa pine and cedar forest. Instead of cooking grills, campsites are equipped with Klamath Ovens.
