Modesto Reservoir Regional Park Campground

Modesto Reservoir Regional Park is 20 miles east of Modesto near the town of Waterford. The 2,800 surface acres of the reservoir are surrounded by 3,200 acres of park land. Visitors to the park enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, and picnicking. The park also includes an archery range and an electric radio-controlled glider airfield.

Modesto Reservoir Regional Park Campground features 134 campsites with full hook-ups for RVs and trailers. In addition, they have 36 sites designated for tents. A large number of campsites may be reserved, while others are available first-come, first-served. Campsites are arranged into four loops, A-D. The A and B Loops have full hook-ups. C Loop has electric and water hook-ups only. The D Loop, known as Shady Point, has no hook-ups and is not recommended for RVs and trailers. The park includes one Group Campsite.

In order to preserve the quality of the water, no pets, animals, or fuel containers are permitted at the park.
