Reversed Creek Campground is hidden away among the aspen trees across the road from Gull Lake along the June Lake Loop in the Eastern Sierra. Gull Lake, boat ramps, a marina with boat rentals, and the June Mountain Ski Resort are all close at hand.

The trailhead for pretty little Fern Lake and Yost Lake is less than 2 miles down the road.

Reversed Creek Campground has 16 campsites, all of which can accommodate RVs, trailers or tents. The sites may be reserved. Several pull-though sites can handle trailers up to 45 feet. Campsites are well-spaced out and shaded, but close to road.

Reservations accepted Reversed Creek Campground reservations are available for camping from mid-May through mid October. At other times the campground is open, campsites are first-come, first-served. Reservations can be made from 4 days up to 6 months in advance of arrival date.

For those camping at Reversed Creek Campground the many attractions of the June Lake Loop are nearby. June Lake Loop is well known as an amazing fishing destination as well as a gateway to many outdoor activities and attractions.

  • Find superb fishing in a string of mountain lakes and fly fishing in nearby upper Owens River. See Dave's Sierra Fishing for some great fishing destinations in the area.
  • Set out on hiking into the Ansel Adams Wilderness.

Key Reversed Creek Campground Regulations

  1. Fires are only allowed in fire rings.
  2. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  3. Dogs must be on leash and attended at all times. No more than 2 pets are permitted per campsite at Gull Lake Campground.
  4. To avoid problems with bears, keep food in bear-proof lockers.
