Kinnikinnick Campground sits on the north shore of Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. Visitors to Huntington Lake enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and relaxing in the fresh mountain air. Great facilities along the shore near the campground include resorts, cafes, stores, marinas, and picnic areas.
Kinnikinnick Campground has 25 campsites in a dense forest of pine and fir. The campground is adjacent to Catavee Campground and across the road from Huntington Lake. Kinnikinnick accepts RVs and trailers up to 40 feet, longer than most other campgrounds at the lake can accommodate. A few of Kinnikinnick's campsites have views of the lake. All the campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Some sites have good privacy.
There is a minimum 2-night stay on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends.
Before entering a campsite, campers are asked to check in at the Eastwood CLM office located at the east end of Huntington Lake.
