Wishon Point Campground

Wishon Point Campground is located on the southwest shore of Bass Lake in the Sierra National Forest. Visitors to Bass Lake enjoy fishing, boating, waterskiing, and hiking. Facilities at the lake include marinas, launch ramps, resorts, and many nice lakeside picnic areas.

Note: Many hazardous trees around Bass Lake campgrounds have recently been removed, leaving many campgrounds more exposed with fewer trees than in the past.

Wishon Point Campground's 46 campsites are set in a forest of oak, pine, and cedar with dense undergrowth in some parts which provides good privacy. Eight of the campsites are designated for tents only; the rest can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. A few of the campsites have lake views. There are some double campsites available. A few parking spurs may be bumpy. A 2-night minimum stay is required on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends.

Check in at Bass Lake Recreation Office before proceeding to campground. The office is located at west end of the lake near Recreation Point.
