Twin Lakes Campground - Mammoth Lakes

Twin Lakes Campground - Mammoth Lakes - is divided between the eastern and western shores of two Mammoth Lakes. The eastern shore section is known as Upper Twin Lakes. The sites are favorites with anglers and families. At the head of the upper lake are pretty Twin Falls.

Nearby are bike trails, hiking trails, riding stables, great fishing and relaxing boating. A general store has boat rentals and supplies. Within the campground is a boat ramp and fishing pier.

All 94 sites in Twin Lakes Campground - Mammoth Lakes - can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Some campsites are close to the lakes while others in the Upper section are a short distance up the hillside. All are within easy walking distance of the lakes and other facilities. A special plus at Twin Lakes Campground is that they offer hot showers. The maximum length of stay here is 7 days.

Reservations recommended Twin Lakes Campground - Mammoth Lakes - reservations can be made for camping dates from late May through mid-October. At other times when the campground is open, sites are first-come, first-served.

  1. To avoid problems with bears, keep food in bear-proof lockers if provided.
  2. Fires are only allowed in fire rings.
  3. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  4. Dogs must be on leash and attended at all times. No more than 2 pets are permitted per campsite.
