The June Lake Loop is well known as an amazing fishing destination as well as a gateway to many outdoor activities and attractions.

Key Inyo National Forest Camping Regulations

  1. Fires only in fire rings
  2. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  3. Dogs must be on leash and attended at all times. No more than 2 pets per campsite
  4. To avoid problems with bears keep food in bear-proof lockers or in your vehicle.

Gull Lake Campground

Gull Lake Campground offers some of the most scenic campsites around the June Lake Loop. Sites are well shaded among the trees along the southern shore of beautiful Gull Lake. Gull Lake Marina offers boat rentals and has a launch ramp. Fishing, hiking, canoeing and other outdoor activities are popular. Nearby is the trailhead to Fern Lake. Cyclists and motorists enjoy making the June Lake Loop. The loop road passes close behind the campground.

Gull Lake Campground's 11 campsites are first come, first served. Some sites are lake-front, others are just across the small campground road from the lake. The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

General Camping Information

Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the reservation site when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite. Purchase firewood locally to avoid spreading pests.

Accessible Sites

Designated Accessible sites are usually reserved for people with disabilities who have a vehicle displaying an accessible parking placard or license plate.
