Pine Glen Campground

Pine Glen Campground is primarily a group campground, but it also has 10 sites used for overflow camping from neighboring Shady Rest campgrounds. Pine Glen Campground is located behind the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center and within walking distance of Mammoth Lakes Village. A free shuttle connects to key points around the area, and the Reds Meadow Shuttle Bus takes visitors out to Devils Postpile National Monument. The Reds Meadow bus charges a fee.

Pine Glen Campground has 9 group sites for RVs or tents in a large loop. Each site can accommodate groups of 15 or 30 people. Campsites are in a forest of mature Jeffrey pines. The overflow campsites are well spaced out and more scenic than those in neighboring New Shady Grove Campground. Even though it is well back from the main road, Pine Glen Campground still picks up the sound of passing traffic.
