O'Neill Regional Park Campground, known as Arroyo Campground, is surrounded by 4,500 acres of parkland in Trabuco and Live Oak canyons. While the surrounding hills are covered with cactus, sage, and wild buckwheat, the park is wooded with live oak and sycamore. A pair of seasonal creeks wind though the park. Visitors enjoy picnicking, hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
Operated by Orange County Parks, O'Neill Regional Park is 30 miles northeast of San Juan Capistrano.
RV Camping and Tent Camping at O'Neill Park Campground
O'Neill Regional Park Campground (Arroyo Campground) offers 79 campsites for RV camping and tent camping. The campsites are spread along a string of loops that parallel Trabuco Creek. The park also has 8 Group Campsites and an Equestrian Campground. Groups of 17 or more must choose a group campsite.

Group Campsites at O'Neill Regional Park Campground
O'Neill Regional Park offers two group tent camping areas: Sycamore Flats Group Area with 4 sites and Hickey Creek Group Area with 4 sites.
Sycamore Flats Sites A & B hold up to 40 people and 10 vehicles. Site Ca is for up to 25 people and 10 vehicles. Site D serves up to 80 people and 30 vehicles.
Hickey Creek Sites #1 and #2 can accommodate up to 45 people and 15 vehicles. Sites #3 and #4 are designated for up to 25 people and 10 vehicles.
Check the reservation website (above) for details about amenities as each site. It is possible to reserve the entire Sycamore Flats or Hickey Creek areas.

Harmon Equestrian Area
Harmon Equestrian Area
Harmon Equestrian Area contains 5 campsites for campers with horses. Facilities are similar to standard campsites. At least one corral is provided for each campsite. Site #1 is the largest in the equestrian area with seven corrals and room for several vehicles. A public arena is available.

Orange County is known for its many great recreation areas and attractions. Campers at O'Neill Regional Park Campground are only a short drive from many of these favorite destinations.
Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the reservation site when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
