Doheny State Beach campground is immediately south of the mouth of San Juan Creek and within sight of the Coast Highway. Of the 118 campsites, 33 are premium ocean-front sites, while another 16 are designated for trailers or RVs. The remainder of the sites can accommodate tents, trailers, or RVs. There are no hook-ups at any site.
Doheny State Beach campground has one Group Campsite located at the southern end of the campground.

Doheny State Beach Group Campsites
Doheny Beach's group site is a tent-only camp. It can accommodate from 9 to 40 people and 10 vehicles. The maximum vehicle length is 17 feet.

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, obtain firewood locally.

Key Doheny State Beach Campground Regulations
Dogs must be kept on leash and attended at all times. Dogs are not permitted on the beach. At night dogs must be confined to tent or vehicle.
Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM. Generators may only be operated between 10 AM to 8 PM.
