Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground
Bolsa Chica State Beach is at the northern end of Orange County, only a short distance north of Huntington Beach. The Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground is designated for self-contained RVs or trailers only. There is no tent camping.
Bolsa Chica State Beach draws visitors from the nearby Los Angeles area. The state beach offers ample room for parking spread along miles of oceanfront. Visitors enjoy sunbathing, strolling along the beach, bike riding, surfing, and fishing.
RV Camping at Bolsa Chica Beach Campground
The 55 campsites at Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground can accommodate RVs or trailers up to 40 feet. The sites all have electric and water hook-ups. Spaces are lined up parking-lot style with a paved bike path separating them from the beach. Premium sites are along the front row facing the ocean. Standard sites run in a second row behind them.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, obtain firewood locally.
