Strawberry Point Campground
Strawberry Point Campground is on the north shore of Ice House Reservoir in the Crystal Basin area of Eldorado National Forest. The small lakefront campground offers more privacy and quiet than some of the larger campgrounds in the area. It is close to good boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, and hiking. A bike or hike trail leads from the campground through Northwind Campground and on to the launch ramp.
Strawberry Point Campground has 10 campsites; all accept RVs, trailer, or tents. There is no potable water at the campground. Either bring water or use a proper water filter.
Reach Strawberry Point Campground by traveling 11 miles on Ice House Road off Highway 50 and then 3 miles on Forest Road 32 (Ice House/Wrights Lake Tie Road).
