Jones Fork Campground

Jones Fork Campground is on the southeastern corner of Union Valley Reservoir in the Crystal Basin, Eldorado National Forest. The campground's 10 sites are fairly well spread out and can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents.

A parking lot for a 4½-mile paved bike trail is located next to the campground.

No potable water is available at Jones Fork Campground. Amenities include vault toilets. Beacuse of its small size, Jones Fork Campground has a more relaxed atmosphere than some of the larger facilities. Opportunities for fishing from shore are close at hand.

General Camping Information

When making reservations be sure that your vehicle will fit in the space indicated on the reservations website. Information is available at the Crystal Information Station east of Union Valley Reservoir on Ice House Road during the summer.
Horses and motor vehicles are not permitted on the bike trails at Union Valley Reservoir. Horses are permitted on the Ice House Reservoir bike trail.
For campground purposes, a vehicle is any equipment that is required to be licensed/registered. This includes RVs, trailers, cars/trucks, boat/car trailer, motorcycle/atv, etc. Vehicles parked in a truck or on a trailer are not counted separately.
