Pardoes Point Campground
Pardoes Point Campground is located on the south shore of Lower Bear River Reservoir in the Eldorado National Forest. Visitors to the campground are often interested in launching fishing boats into Lower Bear River Reservoir. A boat ramp is nearby. Adventurous campers hike to the upper Bear River Reservoir or enjoy horseback riding up the Long Valley Trail.
Pardoes Point Campground has 10 tent-only campsites. Site #10., which is adjacent to the boat ramp, is a double site for up to 12 people. A parking area at the campground is dedicated for campers hiking into Camp Winton, a Boy Scout Camp.
Pardoes Point Campground is 4 miles south of Highway 88 on Bear River Road.
General Camping Information
For campground purposes, a vehicle is any equipment that is required to be licensed/registered. This includes RVs, trailers, cars/trucks, boat/car trailer, motorcycle/atv, etc. Vehicles parked in a truck or on a trailer are not counted separately.
