Visitors to Ventura County coast find many excellent beaches, lakes and forests to explore Those camped at Dennison Park Campground are only a short drive from Ojai and Lake Casitas.
Dennison Park Campground is operated by Ventura County Parks. Dennison Park is along Santa Paula - Ojai Road, about 2½ miles southeast of Ojai. The park offers scenic views of the Ojai Valley. Mature trees provide plenty of shade for campsites and picnic areas. Facilities at the park include a playground and horseshoe pits. Lake Casitas is 11 miles to the west.
Dennison Park Campground offers 32 campsites for tents and smaller RVs or trailers. Picnic tables, fire pits, and drinking water are provided, along with coin operated showers. There are no hook-ups available. The campground has a reputation for clean restrooms and friendly camp hosts.
