Cassel Campground
Cassel Campground is in the Hat Creek Valley east of Burney. The campground is operated by PG&E. The area is especially popular for fly fishing in Hat Creek and in nearby Crystal Lake and Baum Lake. McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is only 12 miles to the north and Lassen Volcanic National Park is 34 miles to the south.
Cassel Campground offers 27 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Pine trees provide nice shade for the campsites. PG&E's reservation website shows photos of each site. There is a 2-night minimum stay when making reservations.
