Greater Los Angeles Area Campgrounds

Most of the campgrounds around Los Angeles are in the Angeles National Forest. A number of other campgrounds are found by some of the popular recreation lakes in the area such as Silverwood and Castaic. Standing out from the others is Malibu Creek State Park. Starting with Meadow Group Campground, some comfortable group campsites can be found at Chilao Campground, Silverwood Lake, Prado Regional Park, Yucaipa Regional Park, Castaic Lake, Los Alamos Campground (Pyramid Lake), Mojave Narrows Regional Park, and Malibu Creek State Park.
