Southern California Beach Campgrounds

Many of the campgrounds along the Southern California coast are parking-lot style rows of designated sites best suited for RVs or trailers. For avid beach-goers, the arrangement works well. The beach is the attraction, not the campsite.

A few campgrounds offer a better camping experience, usually by sacrificing ocean-front for more secluded and spread out locations slightly inland.

Group Campsites can be found at Leo Carrillo, Doheny, San Clemente, and San Onofre beaches.
