This scenic, tent-only campground is 7 miles past the Ash Mountain Entrance Station. Campsites are spread beneath an open stand of oaks along the Middle Fork of the Kaweah River. Because of its low elevation, Buckeye Flat Campground is usually hot in the summer and snow-free in the winter. Giant Forest is a 40-minute drive away.
