Porcupine Flat Campground
Porcupine Flat Campground is off Tioga Road (Highway 120), about a half hour west of Tuolumne Meadows and more than an hour's drive from Yosemite Valley. Nearby is Porcupine Creek Trailhead. Tuolumne Meadows and other attractions are only a short drive up the Tioga Pass Road.
Porcupine Flat Campground features 52 campsites. Most are close to pretty little Porcupine Creek. A section of the campground across the creek is not recommended for RVs or trailers. Sites are well spaced out and have plenty of shade.
No tap water is available at the campground. Visitors should filter, treat, or boil creek water before use. Be sure to store all food items in the bear-proof lockers, not in cars.
Notice: "The season dates for this campground are subject to change based on a variety of factors. Updates will be posted here in advance of reservation releases."
