Spending a few days camping at one of the most beautiful lakes in the country is a great way to vacation. The most popular campgrounds fill quickly, but there are alternatives others may have overlooked.
Group Sites: Sugar Pine Point State Park and D. L. Bliss State Park.
Boat-in Sites: Emerald Bay State Park
Horse Camps: Bayview Campground has facilities for horses.
Nearly every campground accepts reservations. Only Bayview Campground is first-come, first-served. Tahoe SRA Campground, as well as many others, will accept first-come, first-served if space allows.
