Deer Creek Campground
Deer Creek Campground is on the north shore of Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. Visitors to Huntington Lake enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking into the nearby Kaiser Wilderness. Along the lakeshore are resorts, cafes, stores, marinas, boat launch ramps, and picnic areas. The community of Lakeshore and a public launch ramp are near Deer Creek Campground.
Deer Creek Campground has 27 campsites in 2 loops next to the lake. All the campsites have lake views. One loop is heavily forested while the other is more open and sunny. There are 4 double sites. Designated premium lakefront campsites are $2 extra each night. All the campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents.
There is a minimum 2-night stay on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends. Before entering a campsite, campers are asked to check in at the Eastwood CLM office located at the east end of Huntington Lake.
