River Park Campground

River Park Campground is operated by the City of Lompoc. The 190 acres of River Park are along the Santa Inez River, off Highway 246. The Park offers some nice attractions such as a large pond stocked with trout and catfish and a modern playground. Currently only RVs or trailers are accommodated by the campground, although tent sites may become available in future years.

The park's 35 RV sites are side-by-side on concrete pads among shade trees, but are not particularly scenic. Sites feature full hook-ups, picnic tables, and fire pits. Nearby are hot showers, restrooms, a dump station. A resident campground host is on duty. A short distance away in the park are a pond, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and the playground.

Campsites are first-come, first-served. The sites are often busy, so calling ahead may be a good idea before arriving at the campground: 805-875-8100.
