Morro Bay State Park Campground is spread along the eastern shore of Morro Bay. Visitors take advantage of the many services and attractions around the popular coastal town of Morro Bay. Fishing, hiking, swimming, golf, sight-seeing, kayaking, birding, and sun-bathing are all popular.

Morro Bay State Park Campground has 120 campsites. Among them are 5 sites designated for tents only, 28 sites with water and electric hook-ups for RVs or trailers, and 87 standard campsites that can accommodate RVS, trailers, and tents. The campground also has 2 Group Campsites and 5 Hike & Bike campsites.

Morro Bay State Park has 2 group campsites at its campground - Chorro and Osos. Chorro Group Camp can accommodate groups from 9 to 35 with up to 15 vehicles (a maximum of 2 RVs). Osos Group Camp is for from 9 to 25 people and up to 10 vehicles (a maximum of 2 RVs).

Key Morro Bay State Park Campground Regulations

  1. Dogs are required to be on leash no longer than six feet and under adult supervision at all times. Dogs must be confined to a vehicle or tent at night.
  2. Quiet Hours are observed from 10 PM to 8 AM.
  3. Generators may only be operated between 10 AM to 8 PM.
