Central Coast Campgrounds

Many of the most popular campgrounds in San Luis Obispo County are found in the beautiful state beaches and parks along the Pacific coast and inland around large recreational lakes. Most campgrounds are open year-round.

Group Camps are found at Lake Nacimiento's Sandy Point Campground, Morro Bay State Park Campground, Lopez Lake, and Santa Margarita Lake.

Montana de Oro State Park has three Horse Campsites and two Group Horse Camps. Lopez Lake Recreation Area has a nice group campsite for equestrians.
