Fir Top Campground
Fir Top Campground is one of several campgrounds on the southwest shore of Jackson Meadows Reservoir in the Tahoe National Forest.
Nearby is Woodcamp Recreation Area with a boat launch ramp and a swim beach. Waterskiing, boating, hiking, and fishing are popular activities at Jackson Meadow Reservoir.
Fir Top Campground features 10 campsites located above the lake near Woodcamp Creek. Many campers appreciate the relative solitude of the campground. Fir and pine trees provide plenty of shade, enhancing the feeling of tranquility at the campground. Campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, obtain firewood locally.
