Tahoe Donner Campground
Tahoe Donner Campground is part of the Tahoe Donner development north of Truckee. Members of the homeowner's association and their guests receive discounted camping fees, but the general public is also welcome at the campground. A large number of Tahoe Donner's facilities are open to the public, including golf, skiing, equestrian, and cycling. Donner Lake and Donner Memorial State Park are only a short drive from the campground.
Tahoe Donner Campground features 43 campsites. Nineteen of the sites have electric and water hook-ups for RVs and trailers. Another 23 sites are designated for tent camping. RVs and trailers are not allowed at tent sites. Campsites tend to be close to one another. Reduced rates are available for 4-week stays at the campground (if space is available). The campground also has a group site which can accommodate up to 25 people. The group site has 30-amp electrical service and 7 parking spots.
General Camping Information
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, obtain firewood locally.
Accessible Sites
Designated Accessible sites are usually reserved for people with disabilities who have a vehicle displaying an accessible parking placard or license plate
