Palomar Mountain Campgrounds

Many of the campgrounds around Palomar Mountain serve as bases for visits to the famous Palomar Observatory. Some campgrounds also have star-gazing activities right at the campgrounds.

Group campgrounds are found in Palomar Mountain State Park and at Crestline Campground. An equestrian camp is included at the Dripping Springs Campground.
