Elam Campground
Elam Campground sits along Deer Creek in the Lassen National Forest, 16 miles west of Chester and Lake Almanor. Visitors to the area enjoy relaxing in the pretty setting, hiking local trails and dirt roads, mountain biking, and fishing for rainbow trout. Lassen Volcanic National Park makes an excellent day trip to the north.
Elam Campground has 15 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. All of the sites are first-come, first served. Campsites closest to the creek are recommended as the best choices.
