Diaz Lake Campground
Diaz Lake Campground is on the shore of 80-acre Diaz Lake along Highway 395, three miles south of Lone Pine. Diaz Lake is popular for summer waterskiing, boating, and swimming. Motorized boats are permitted on the lake from mid-May through October. At other times kayaks, canoes, and other non-motorized watercraft are still allowed. Year-year fishing is good for Alpers trout and bass. The lake features an ADA fishing dock.
Diaz Lake Campground has 100 lakeside campsites, some of which have water hook-ups. Many spaces can accommodate large RVs. Some campsites have shade. Diaz Lake also have a group camping sites which can accomodate up to 15 people. Campsites have beautiful views of the Sierra to the west.
Note: All watercraft are subject to quagga mussel inspection prior to launch. Watercraft larger than 22 feet are not permitted in the lake.
General Camping Information
Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Purchase firewood locally to avoid spreading pests.
Accessible Sites
Designated Accessible sites are usually reserved for people with disabilities who have a vehicle displaying an accessible parking placard or license plate.
