Hanna Flat Campground
Hanna Flat Campground is 3 miles northwest of Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino National Forest. Two of those miles are on rough, unpaved road. The campground is situated in a dense pine forest off the Rim of the World Scenic Byway. At nearby Big Bear Lake visitors enjoy swimming, boating, waterskiing, and fishing. Other favorites are cycling and hiking.
Most of the sites at Hanna Flat Campground must be reserved ahead time, but 18 are first come, first served. Twenty-three sites are tent-only, the remainder are available for small trailers or RVs or tents. A 3-night minimum stay is required on holiday weekends.
