Camping in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is a wondrous experience, especially in the spring when wildflowers carpet the ground. A number of great campgrounds can be found just outside the park, providing visitors with more camping choices.
Some of the camps shown here are dedicated group camps, while others include group camps as part of their family campgrounds. For equestrians, there are also two camps dedicated to campers with horses along with a couple of campgrounds that have separate horse camps as part of their campgrounds.
Besides campsites designated for tents, RVs, and trailers, these campgrounds also have specialty camps attached to them, often set apart from the main campground.

Group Camps are set aside for a variety of groups, whether Boy Scouts, a church group, a photography club, or a gathering of friends. Some of the group camps are intended specifically for youth or equestrians.
Equestrian Camps are provided for campers with horses. The camps are placed well apart from the main campground. Corrals and other horse-related amenities may be provided.
