Dillon Creek Campground

Six Rivers National Forest

Dillon Creek Campground

Dillon Creek Campground is beside its namesake creek and near the Klamath River in the Six Rivers National Forest. The campground is along Highway 96, 22 miles south of Happy Camp and 23 miles north of Orleans. Campers find great swimming and tubing in scenic swimming holes along the Klamath River when water levels are safe. The river is popular for rafting and kayaking for miles downstream to the Green Riffle Access Point. Beyond Green Riffle, the river is unsafe as it plunges over Ishi Pishi Falls.

Dillon Creek Campground has 21 campsites for tents and small RVs and trailers. Campsites are "carved into the mountain slopes", providing shelter, shade, and privacy. Many sites can be reserved while others are first-come, first-served.
