Sheep Creek Campground
Sheep Creek Campground is located at Cedar Grove near Road's End in Kings Canyon National Park. The campsites are along the South Fork of the Kings River in an open conifer forest. Visitors who make the 30-mile drive from Grant Grove down to Cedar Grove are rewarded with a beautiful valley surrounded by towering peaks. Hiking trails lead up the canyon to Mist Falls and points with views of the Sphinx. Sheep Creek, Moraine, and Sentinel campgrounds are side by side and nearly identical.
A bike path connects Sheep Creek Campground with Sentinel Campground and other locations in Cedar Grove. Limited sites will accommodate trailers or RVs up to 30 feet. Extra bear boxes are provided near the campground entrance if the one at your site is not adequate.
