Key Campground Regulations

  1. Bears: Food and similar items must be stored in bear-proof lockers, not in vehicles.
  2. Water is in short supply during California's drought.

Logger Flat Group Campground

Logger Flat Group Campground is located on Tenmile Creek, about 3 miles south of Hume Lake in the Sequoia National Forest. The spacious camp has room for 50 campers. At nearby Hume Lake a variety of recreation opportunities are available from boating and swimming, to hiking and mountain biking.

Campsites are situated in a mature confer forest with mixed sun and shade. Basic facilities are provided.

General Camping Information for
Sequoia National Forest

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on snow conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.

In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, obtain firewood from the local area of the campground.

Accessible Sites

Designated Accessible sites are usually reserved for people with disabilities who have a vehicle displaying an accessible parking placard or license plate.
