Logger Flat Group Campground is located on Tenmile Creek, about 3 miles south of Hume Lake in the Sequoia National Forest.

The spacious camp has room for 50 campers. At nearby Hume Lake a variety of recreation opportunities are available from boating and swimming, to hiking and mountain biking.

Campsites at Logger Flat Group Campground are situated in a mature confer forest with mixed sun and shade. Basic facilities are provided. Showers can be found at Hume Lake.

Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks are filled with scenic wonders and great places to explore. Campers at Logger Flat Group Campground are next to a beautiful mountain lake.

  • Head over to Hume Lake for swimming, kayaking, and fishing.
  • Join in Ranger-led Programs at Grant Grove, Cedar Grove, Wuksachi Lodge, and John Muir Lodge.
  • Try your luck fishing along the Kings River in Cedar Grove or hike to Mist Falls.
  • Take advantage of a free shuttle to key sites in Sequoia's Lodgepole and Giant Forest area .
  • In Sequoia, visit Crystal Cave, climb the trail up Moro Rock, stand before the towering Sherman Tree, and visit the Giant Forest Museum.
  • Take a scenic driving tour of some of the spectacular vistas in the parks.

Key Logger Flat Group Campground Regulations

  1. Due to the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
  2. Avoid problems with bears by storing food and similar items in bear-proof lockers, not in vehicles. Use of the lockers is required.
  3. Generators may only be operated from 9 AM to 9 PM. In Lodgepole and Dorst campgrounds, only operate generators from 8 AM to 11 AM and 5 PM to 8 PM.
  4. Dogs (except service dogs) are not permitted on any park trails or on the summer shuttle.
