Orchard Springs Campground
Orchard Springs Campground is on the southwest shore of Rollins Lake, 15 miles from Colfax. Rollins Lake is operated by the Nevada Irrigation District. Campers at Rollins Lake enjoy all kinds of water sports, including swimming, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Jet skis are permitted on the lake. Fishing is good for trout, Kokanee, catfish, and bass. The campground has a boat launch ramp, boat rentals, a swim beach, and volleyball.
Orchard Springs Campground offers 91 campsites for RVs, trailers, or tents. Fourteen of the campsites are classified as Premium RV sites with full hook-ups (30 amp). A handful of sites are designated as prime, water-view sites. The remainder are set farther back from the lake on a hillside. Sites 250 - 253A on a rounded hilltop not far from the beach are among the most popular campsites. There is a $6.50 per night fee for watercraft. There is a 2-night minimum stay for any reservation and 3-nights on holiday weekends. One-night stays are allowed for drop-in campers.

In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
