East Fork Campground
East Fork Campground is spread along Rock Creek Road, 6½ miles west of Highway 395 at Tom's Place. Campers at East Fork Campground are only 3 miles from pretty Rock Creek Lake with swimming, fishing, and boating. Rock Creek Lake has a 5 MPH speed limit. A nice day-use area with a beach is located on the southeastern side of the lake. Several miles farther up the road are popular trails for day hikes into Little Lakes Valley. Nearby are mountain biking trails.
East Fork Campground has 133 campsites around several loops. Some sites are along the creek with good shade, others are more open. Twenty-five sites are designated for tents only. The rest of the campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers and tents. Sixty-two campsites have non-specific reservations, which means campers with reservations for those sites will be assigned a specific site upon arrival.
General Camping Information
Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the reservation site when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite. Purchase firewood locally to avoid spreading pests.
Designated Accessible sites are usually reserved for people with disabilities who have a vehicle displaying an accessible parking placard or license plate.
