North Shore Campground
North Shore Campground is privately owned campground open to the public. The camp is spread along the shore of 28,000-acre Lake Almanor. Visitors to Lake Almanor enjoy boating, waterskiing, fishing, swimming, and hiking. Lassen Volcanic National Park is close enough for a day trip.
North Shore Campground offers tent and RV camping along with rental cabins. RV sites have hook-ups. Some sites are lakefront. Amenities at the campground include hot showers, a general store, coin operated laundry, a boat ramp and boat slips, and a fish-cleaning station. They also have canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard rentals. During the high season there is a 2-night minimum stay.
General Camping Information for
Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on snow conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. Check carefully on the website when you make your reservation to be sure your vehicle will fit your campsite.
In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted.
